What A Blessing It Is To Have "A Talent Within"

It became this invisible guiding light that I knew I could never stop following..

As a Vocalist, one of the first things I had to understand was that my instrument is embedded within. Therefore, I couldn't and shouldn't do certain things that would endanger my vocal cords. In a way, it definitely caused me to be a bit more disciplined and not fall into many reckless activities. However, when I was younger and getting acquainted with my singing voice, I really thought that everyone could do it because we all could talk, and all I knew was that everyone did that. So, I didn't quite understand that I carried a significant gift.

As I grew and began to develop my vocal ability, there were many pros and cons but the most important thing was, it became this invisible guiding light that I knew I could never stop following.

Assigned At Conception

This is why I find it so confusing when people who do not carry this particular gift, feel the need to compare and pick a part one's singing voice. Yes, you can take vocal lessons and study the art of singing to enhance your talent but you cannot hand over vocal ability as if it's a hand bag needing to be matched for color coordination. It NATURALLY was assigned at conception. It was placed inside of you and it should be used! So, embrace your God given gift. It is the most authentic and amazing physical blessing one can be blessed with. Allow your artistry to blossom and bring opportunity to you as you put in hard work and keep your belief in yourself strong. Always remember, even when it feels like everyone in the world is singing, know that an authentic talent can't be compared, denied, or ignored unless you choose to give into negativity....but please don't! There are soooo many talented singers out here but note that EVERYONE CAN NOT, and that fact alone makes you special. Such a uniqueness we're chosen to birth and nurture as a direct gift. It's really incredible!!!
